Hi,

You can use this guide to install the IceBreak Application server on your iSeries, i5 or AS/400. All you need is OS400 V5R1M0 or higher – no Apache or HTTP server needed. Time estimated on a 9406-800 V5R2M0 (300 CPW) takes less than 10 minutes.

Before installing please check that you have the following information ready:

• The TCP/IP address for your iSeries
• A user profile and password with *SECADM class when installing IceBreak
• The FTP-server must be started on your iSeries

Installing the IceBreak Application server:

• Visit http://icebreak.org/dwnlfree.htm for downloading IceBreak (Approx 13 MB).
• Click the "Start download" and run the IceBreakSetupxxxx.exe (xxxx indecate the build) which will start the installation on your iSeries / i5 / AS/400.
• Enter the TCP/IP address for your iSeries
• Enter the user profile and password with *SECADM class.
• Now you can see the blue progress bar working while IceBreak is being unpacked
• Finally you will be prompted using the "black/green" environment or the browser based environment... Just click on the URL

The IceBreak server is now up and running. For more information please visit http://icebreak.org

Regard,

Bent
