Re: How to find the P-group of an AS/400 On some AS/400 you can view the P-group if you issue the command: WRKLICINF Look in the top of the screen to find the Processor group. On some AS/400 this will not be a valid P-group (P05-P50). If so proceed like below. First you need the model, processor feature and in some cases the interactive feature. You can find that if you execute the command: WRKHDWRSC TYPE(*PRC) and then choose option '7=Display resource detail' in front of the main card enclosure (CEC01). You will see a screen like below where processor features may be missing. Display Resource Detail Resource name . . . . . . . : CEC01 Text . . . . . . . . . . . . : Main Card Enclosure Type-model . . . . . . . . . : 9406-720 Serial number . . . . . . . : xx-xxxxx Part number . . . . . . . . : Processor feature code . . . : 206B Processor feature . . . . . : 2061 Interactive feature . . . . : 1501 Now use this link to IBM to find the processor-group: http://www.iseries.ibm.com/servlet/factCompare You simply select the Model, processor feature and interactive feature in this sequence and the P-group will be listed below. Re: How to find the P-group of an AS/400
On some AS/400 you can view the P-group if you issue the command:
WRKLICINF
Look in the top of the screen to find the Processor group.
On some AS/400 this will not be a valid P-group (P05-P50). If so proceed like below.
First you need the model, processor feature and in some cases the interactive feature. You can find that if you execute the command:
WRKHDWRSC TYPE(*PRC)
and then choose option '7=Display resource detail' in front of the main card enclosure (CEC01).
You will see a screen like below where processor features may be missing.
Display Resource Detail
Resource name . . . . . . . : CEC01
Text . . . . . . . . . . . . : Main Card Enclosure
Type-model . . . . . . . . . : 9406-720
Serial number . . . . . . . : xx-xxxxx
Part number . . . . . . . . :
Processor feature code . . . : 206B
Processor feature . . . . . : 2061
Interactive feature . . . . : 1501
Now use this link to IBM to find the processor-group:
http://www.iseries.ibm.com/servlet/factCompare
You simply select the Model, processor feature and interactive feature in this sequence and the P-group will be listed below.
