Since IceBreak is a native os400 web application server and since the server running compiled programs native as well you are able to do exact the stuff as normal os400 calling programs does. This means that you can open files through e.g. SQL CONNECT exact the same way as you would in traditional os400 programming when running IceBreak programs. Im not a SQL guru but I have seen that it is possible make connection to a foreign database from our iSeries by use of a SQL CONNECT statement.
