I have been asked for quite a while for when the Drag & Drop feature would be added in InterFormNG. Well Christmas comes early this year, for wait no longer:
 
Version InterFormNG 2011.5.3.10 is now available for download from our download server. As usual the newest version can be downloaded via this link:

This version includes two major changes:

1. Drag & Drop is now included. This works very intuitive so you should feel at home from the very beginning when starting to use this. When inserting a ‘printable’ element e.g. a text you will now need to click the Result window before the element is inserted – as in the InterForm400 designer. If you insert an element in a flow area then the coordinates of the element will be 0 as this will normally be used.
2. A Workflow functionality (similar to Auto Forms Control in InterForm400) has been implemented. With this you can define a ‘rule’ to be triggered if an incoming xml file contains something specific data, has a specific file name or e.g. is placed in a special directory.

The possible functions for a rule are the same as for older InterFormNG versions, but you can now e.g. do multiple print outs on different printers – using different templates – inside one rule. The Workflow feature makes it easier to setup InterFormNG – especially as the relevant meta keys can now be selected from a drop down list.
 
The new functionality is not yet documented in the manual, but this will be done in December.
