We have a potential client thgat does not like the use of frames in an HTML page. Any development work (eg. a Tree Menu) must (if possible) be achieved without the use of frames.
Although it will not impact on any potential sale of IceBreak, the question of whether the IceBreak Administration server page used frames.
Looking at the page source in the browser, it looks like frames are indeed being used. Can you confirm that this is the case?
Thanks
Syd
Re: Admin browser page and HTML frames
Hi Syd;
Yes - The admin-server in IceBreak is using a frame set.
This, however, does not require you to use frames in your own applications if you dont like it.
You a totally free to choos any techonology you like for your own applications
Re: Admin browser page and HTML frames
Thanks Niels,
I thought this was the case. The customer asked the question, so I just needed to check my facts.

Re: Admin browser page and HTML frames
It would, however, be really nice if the administration interface was implemented according to the XHTML standard without frames so that IceBreak instances could be controlled from mobile devices.
PS. I asked for this a long time ago, but I'm sure it won't be changed anytime soonÂ

Re: Admin browser page and HTML frames
From Mobiles just use the direct link to server instances:
http://MySystemi:7000/Admin/Adm001.asp
Then you don't see any frames
