During the last month I had a couple of questions regarding the shading when creating PDF files. If you want the best grey shading in the PDF result in InterForm400, you should use the Ink to select a grey color (you can even create your own shades of grey) and then insert e.g. frames with full 100% black filling to get the smooth, grey output in the color PDF result.
